I Do Not
Poem
This poem is more of a desideratum than a claim. Since I haven’t posted in a while, and since it seems certain that no print journal would like this one, I’m posting it here.
I Do Not The one who seeks wisdom seeks within. Within the one, who seeks? Wisdom seeks. Wisdom seeks the one within, who seeks. Who seeks wisdom, seeks the one within. Any bird sings in any distant tree seen, not heard, external. Anyone may listen for the bird. The light of any day sifts through any sky of clouds from the sun, unseen, above. Anyone may look for the sun. I do not seek wisdom in the confusion within. I do not seek to hear the bird. I do not seek the sun. I do not seek.

Why not seek?
Is listening seeking?
Seek you food?
Seek you shelter?
Seek you anything?
Those who seek not, want not, need not
Those who seek, do they want? Do they need?
What is harm in seeking?
What is harm in not seeking?
What is harm in needing to seek?
What is harm in needing not to seek?
Where do those questions meet?
Seek you that, at least?
Love the playfulness here
